"Ty-Ni" is situated in the idyllic location of Laugharne on the Carmarthen Bay Estuary, a good base for visiting both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, in South West Wales. Laugharne hosts the poet Dylan Thomas's Boat House and Writing Shed where he wrote some of his works including "Under Milkwood". Laugharne also has a selection of Restaurants and Pubs including "Hurst House" and the "New Three Mariners" both belonging to the actor Neil Morrissey. There are many places of interest, including the 12th Century Laugharne Castle, The Museum of Speed at near by Pendine, which hosts a 7 mile stretch of white sandy beach. There are breathtaking views, scenic walks in and around Laugharne and other sandy beaches just a short drive away.
