"Ty-Ni" is situated in the idyllic location of Laugharne on the Carmarthen Bay Estuary, a good base for visiting both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, in South West Wales. Laugharne hosts the poet Dylan Thomas's Boat House and Writing Shed where he wrote some of his works including "Under Milkwood". Laugharne also has a selection of Restaurants, Pubs etc including Fine Dining at The Cors Restaurant. Also there are the many amenities including Village Stores with Chemist and Post Office at the top of the town, SPAR Shop down on the Grist and the Victoria Bakery. There is the Silver Shop and the Glass Works.. There are many places of interest, including the 12th Century Laugharne Castle, The Museum of Speed at near by Pendine, which hosts a 7 mile stretch of white sandy beach. There are breathtaking views, scenic walks in and around Laugharne and other sandy beaches just a short drive away.
